Take part in the process. Discover your own aura and see how it connects with others across Europe. Interactive process: by scanning a QR code and answering daily questions, participants receive a personal aura picture and contribute to the evolving collective visualization.
Reading the aura
Via a mobile interface, campus members answer brief questions on mood, movement, knowledge, and more – their input shapes a real-time visualization of the shared campus atmosphere.

Projekttext

CAMPUS AURA – collective sense of campus

We define campus as a space of vibrant and evolving discourse, shaped by (un)verified knowledge and ideas exchanged within society.

CAMPUS AURA is both a conceptual and practical tool designed to capture and visualize the sense of campus. It transforms the often invisible atmosphere of campus life into a tangible, visual experience.

At its core, CAMPUS AURA gathers longterm data to engage with emerging patterns. Through a digital, non-representative daily survey, participants contribute data fragments that reflect shared perceptions of the space. The resulting artwork becomes an instrument for self-reflection, interaction, knowledge-building, and discourse.

CAMPUS AURA invites viewers to see data not as mere numbers, but as traces of human presence and perception. In doing so, it offers a new way to form, question, and visualize campus identity — sparking renewed conversation and insight. This is more than a visualization; it is a living reflection of campus consciousness.
